About The Position

Havis, Inc is in need of assistance researching the applicable adjacent markets for its core products. A historically strong presence in the public safety and retail markets, the need for growth and measurement into enterprise fleets, warehouse and logistics, international markets is a key piece to the strategic goals of the organization.

Requirements

  • Education: Current or future enrollment (incoming Freshmen can apply) in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, WORD, PowerPoint) and, ideally, familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce.
  • Attributes: Proactive, self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Assisting in identifying new business opportunities, researching prospects, and supporting cold outreach via email or phone.
  • Sales Administration: Updating CRM systems, maintaining sales records, and preparing reports on performance metrics.
  • Support & Coordination: Preparing sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials for client meetings.
  • Learning & Development: Attending sales meetings, workshops, and shadowing professionals to learn negotiation and closing techniques.
  • Market Analysis: Researching competitor activity and market trends.
  • AI in Sales: Researching how successful sales representatives and sales teams are incorporating AI into their daily tasks to make their jobs more efficient
