Requirements
- Positive, motivated self-starter who can take an assignment and run with it.
- Enrolled in an Engineering (Mechanical or chemical preferred) Bachelor’s Degree program as a Junior or Senior
Responsibilities
- Partner with Operations and Maintenance Supervisors to learn the Steam Plant’s entire steam cycle process
- Attend daily briefings, as well as planning, safety and outage meetings
- Identify areas for improvement and to enhance safety
- Assist during outages
- Produce a PNID/blueprint to show understanding of the process
- Partner with team on opportunities to enhance blueprints/PNIDs
- Create a presentation to present learning, PNID/blueprint, safety recommendations, and any other learning to management at end of internship.
