About The Position

The Data Analytics internship at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey offers an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in data analysis within the E-ZPass Customer Service team. Requirements

• Enrollment at a college/university through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester.
• Major in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, Operations Research, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Beginner to intermediate SQL skills
• Proficient in technology and basic Microsoft Office platforms
• Working knowledge of databases
• Some knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps
• Excellent analytical and research skills
• Familiarity with metrics and KPIs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete ad-hoc data analysis tasks ranging from gathering, cleaning, and validating data outputs using Excel and Oracle SQL.
• Create Power BI visuals after gathering stakeholders' requirements.
• Maintain and improve existing Microsoft Power Automate workflows.
• Automate workflows using Microsoft Power Automate or Python.
• Maintain and improve existing team's financial model.
• Create various new data collection processes.
