The Data Analytics internship at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey offers an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in data analysis within the E-ZPass Customer Service team. The role focuses on enhancing customer experience by resolving issues related to E-ZPass accounts and toll bills through data-driven insights and automation.

Complete ad-hoc data analysis tasks ranging from gathering, cleaning, and validating data outputs using Excel and Oracle SQL.
Create Power BI visuals after gathering stakeholders' requirements.
Maintain and improve existing Microsoft Power Automate workflows.
Automate workflows using Microsoft Power Automate or Python.
Maintain and improve existing team's financial model.
Create various new data collection processes.

Enrollment at a college/university through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester.
Major in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, Operations Research, or a related field.

Beginner to intermediate SQL skills
Proficient in technology and basic Microsoft Office platforms
Working knowledge of databases
Some knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps
Excellent analytical and research skills
Familiarity with metrics and KPIs is a plus.

Hourly rate range of $17.63 to $29.57
