Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career. The Genomic Medicine Intern will gain hands-on experience and exposure to basic cell and gene therapy processes and manufacturing platforms. Interns will work closely with the R D Cell and Gene Therapy team. This position reports to the Fast Trak or R D Leader and is part of the Genomic Medicine business located in Marlborough and will be an on-site role.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biological Sciences or related discipline.
• 0-2+ years of laboratory experience (class experience acceptable); Working knowledge of statistical methods and design of experiments.
• Basic knowledge of good laboratory practices and scientific methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of cell and gene therapy is desired but not required.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with biologists and engineers.
• Assist with process optimization efforts.
• Make media, culture cells.
• Participate in experimental design and execution, analyze data, and prepare final report.

Benefits
