Effective child support services are an essential part of the larger effort by the Commonwealth and the federal government to promote families' economic self-sufficiency. DOR/CSS’s core functions are to establish parentage, and establish, enforce and modify child support and health insurance orders. Much of our success depends on collaborations with a wide variety of state agencies and private entities. The intern will work with the front-end staff for the department, assisting customers, their legal representatives, employers and other agencies to navigate through the child support process. The position involves triaging requests with patience and professionalism in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Assisting Walk-in Customers
- Processing Housing Requests from customers/Housing Authority
- Answering Switchboard calls and redirecting for further assistance
- Assist supervisor with reviewing miscellaneous Intergovernmental requests
- Processing Incoming/Outgoing Mail
