About The Position

This position is located in Long Island City, Queens. Our Summer Internship runs for 10 weeks, from June 2nd to August 11th, 2025. Get hands-on experience at one of the most iconic fashion brands. This program is designed to give you real-world exposure, meaningful projects, and a front-row seat to how we create, market, and sell the trends of tomorrow. Note: All interns must be present for the full 10-week duration. This is a paid internship at $16.50 an hour. All interns are responsible for all housing and travel.

Requirements

• A passionate, driven student or recent grad eager to learn.
• A team player with a creative mindset and strong attention to detail.
• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in social media and familiarity with platforms.
• Passion for social media, marketing, fashion, retail, and process improvement.
• 1+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or marketing (fashion or lifestyle experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Fashion Closet Assistant, assist in requesting and organizing samples as they are received for photoshoots, assist in returns as necessary.
• Assist the Photo and Styling teams on set for photoshoots: preparing shot lists, communicating product info to photographer, steaming clothing, organizing samples, and preparing the photo studio for specific needs of each shoot and restoring it after each shoot.
• Partner with the Social and Influencer teams to organize and prepare products needed for influencer gifting and paid partnerships.
• Arrange messengers for local deliveries, and FedEx for both domestic and international shipments.
• Assist the Senior Manager, Social Media in compiling weekly/monthly recaps, monitoring trends within the industry and helping to develop best practices for the Betsey Johnson social media channels.
