You will support architectural projects by creating early conceptual diagrams, drawings, and architectural models while working closely with architects and project managers as part of an integrated project team. You will be exposed to design discussions, strategic thinking, and the process of defining project goals on behalf of clients. The role may also include participating in on-site assessments of existing facilities and building systems. With hands-on mentorship and guidance, this internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain a well-rounded, client-side understanding of the architectural design process. Experience in this position is eligible for AXP hours toward architectural licensure. This position is a primarily remote role, with bi-weekly in-office days at MOCA’s Irvine, California location. Start and end dates are flexible, but the length of the summer internship is planned for a minimum of 8 weeks. Compensation for this role is based on experience, qualifications, and education of each candidate within a range of $30 to $32 hourly, at 40 hours per week. Some overtime can be expected to support periodic surges in work.
