Summer Intern - AI & Microsoft Copilot Enablement
About The Position
Join Soleno Therapeutics, Inc. as a Summer Intern and gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while contributing to meaningful projects. Interns will be aligned with a central function (i.e. Clinical Development, Technical Operations, Clinical Operations, Information Technology, Commercial, etc.) that matches their interests and will also collaborate with various departments. Throughout the internship, you will assist with administrative tasks and support cross functional projects. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend lunch and learn trainings and shadow senior staff. The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and able to multitask effectively in a team-oriented environment. This internship offers a unique chance to develop professional skills while playing a key role in advancing Soleno’s mission.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university at the time of the internship
- Must be able to work onsite 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday) at our HQ office
- Possesses a can-do attitude with the ability to multi-task and take on various projects at a time
- Team player with a willingness to take direction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
- Strong communication skills and interest in AI, productivity tools, and user experience
- Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn emerging AI capabilities
Responsibilities
- Assist departments on various administrative projects
- Organize electronic and hard copy records and documents
- Supporting the organization and indexing of paper files printing, copying, scanning and/or tracking individual files
- Assisting with literature reference searches, obtaining copies of literature references, and tracking of references identified, requested, and reviewed
- Identify and document practical Microsoft Copilot use cases across IT and business functions
- Develop and test effective prompt-engineering patterns for common workflows (e.g., documents, emails, analysis, meetings)
- Create end-user enablement content such as quick-start guides, sample prompts, FAQs, and short training videos
- Support AI adoption by gathering user feedback and refining guidance based on real usage
- Assist with change-management and communication activities to promote responsible AI usage
