About The Position
Assists and learns to maintain facilities and grounds (lawns, trees, shrubs, parking lots, sidewalks, etc.) year round. Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, using hand and power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments. Polices hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Confronts unauthorized persons for questioning, routes or detains them, or calls the police. Ability to work in various weather conditions and during off hours.
