SUMMER III Student Nurse Internship
About The Position
The Mayo Clinic Rochester Summer III (SIII) Nursing Internship is one of the longest-running student nurse internships in the nation. Students from across the U.S. take part in the Summer III Program. The Summer III Student Nurse Internship is a skill based paid 10-week full time program, providing opportunities to gain valuable clinical skills and experience. Rochester, MN campus has over 60 specialties, two hospitals, 10 ICUs, and around 130 operating rooms. Summer III Nurse Interns will perform delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and in accordance with the Minnesota Board of Nursing. The designated tasks are those which have been taught in the academic programs and/or orientation, and where the individual has demonstrated competence. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DETAILS CAREFULLY. Responsibilities
- perform delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN)
