About The Position
The Summer Housing Assistant (SHA) is a student member of the Department of Residence Life. Summer Housing Assistants serve as a resource for summer student housing and summer guest housing. The Summer Housing Assistant will assist with preparation (cleaning) of guest spaces, check-ins and check-outs, serving in an on-call rotation, and providing student and guest services. Summer Housing Assistants are Campus Security Authorities and Authorized Adults. The position carries part-time, live-in responsibilities with appointments made on a semesterly basis. Summer Housing Assistant compensation is $13.03/hr wage and room waiver. The Summer Housing Assistant is required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, not accounting time on duty. This position offers the opportunity for employment up to 40 hours per week from May 5, 2025 to August 15, 2025 (negotiable upon hire).
