About The Position

The Summer Horse Camp Counselor position involves teaching and supervising campers in a horseback riding environment. Counselors are responsible for ensuring a safe and engaging experience for children aged 5 to 15, while also managing camp activities and maintaining high standards of health and safety. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience.
• Sound knowledge of horse care.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Previous experience with horses.
• Strong work ethic and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-first environment.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and teach lessons, activities, crafts, and games.
• Supervise and ensure the health and safety of campers at all times.
• Willingness to work in a sometimes hot, dusty, and busy environment.
• Valid driver's license.
