About The Position

At Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, we build trucks that protect people and communities around the world. Since 1913, Pierce has evolved from building truck bodies on Model T Ford chassis to creating highly customized, carefully designed, and engineered pumpers, aerials, tankers, and rescue units. Today, over 30,000 Pierce apparatuses are on the road, making a difference daily. The process of building these trucks is personal, from innovation and expertise to customization and service, ensuring they perform under the toughest conditions. There are a limited number of Summer Help positions available on varying shifts for employment during June, July, and August at an hourly rate of $16.00 per hour. These opportunities are exclusively for family members of current Pierce Manufacturing and Airport Products team members. Selection criteria include the length of service of the parent (current team member), with only two children eligible per parent unless demand exceeds applicants. The first child will be hired based on the parent’s seniority, and the second child will be considered based on position availability. Applicants must be 18 years of age as of June 1, 2025.
