About The Position
Minnkota Power is seeking qualified candidates for temporary summer positions located at the Milton R. Young Station located near Center, ND. The Milton R. Young Station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant, providing a stable energy source for our cooperative member-owners. The station is located 35 miles from Bismarck, North Dakota, a growing and progressive city with many recreational opportunities. Wage is $19.00 per hour & $21.50 per hour for returning employees. Plant Operations (2 positions) Assist in cleaning tripper room and floor trenches Plant site cleanup General painting duties of various items Sweep/wash floors Other tasks as required Plant Operations - Coal Handling (2 positions) Mow and trim grass around the plant site and designated lake areas Garbage pickup around the lake Vehicle cleaning Painting miscellaneous equipment such as fire hydrants, post indicators and handrails Cleaning tripper room Miscellaneous plant cleanup/general cleaning duties Must be 18 years old.
