Summer Group Leader The Police Athletic League (PAL) is the largest independent youth organization in New York City that provides educational and recreational activities for children and young adults. PAL Inc. and The New York City Police Department work in partnership to provide communities with summer and after-school recreational and educational activities. The Police Athletic League, together with NYPD and the law enforcement community, supports and inspires New York City youth to realize their full individual potential as productive members of society. We are looking for Summer Group Leaders who will be responsible for implementing programming tied to our summer theme. Group Leaders plan and facilitate learning, recreational, arts and developmentally appropriate activities for youth, supervise field trips, and collaborate with all staff and leadership. The Commitment: Able to work 8 hour days. Able to work the entire summer camp 4-8 weeks depending on the campsite) beginning July 2nd (start date to be confirmed). Able to attend 15 hours of orientation prior to the beginning of Summer Camp. Able to attend scheduled staff meetings. Preference for professionals that can continue to work with PAL in the fall After School Programming.
