About The Position

The summer intern will provide valuable insight into how and where child support activities are most effectively serving customers. The work of the summer intern will lead to greater understanding of where improvements can be made and what challenges may need to be addressed by the agency.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of basic statistical measures (e.g. mean, median, percentages, max, min, etc.).
• Familiarity with Excel tools and formulas relevant to data analysis.
• Understanding of basic charting and graphing tools in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Deputy Director to identify and obtain performance and outcome data needed to analyze performance.
• Analyze data in various ways to gain insights into key factors that correlate with desired performance outcomes.
• Develop information graphics that convey the findings from the analyses
• Draft a final written report and present the findings to CSS senior managers at the end of the summer.
