This is a part-time, temporary position. The Food for Lane County (FFLC) Summer Food Program provides children with nutritious meals when school meals are not available during the summer. The Site Monitors use a personal vehicle to visit Summer Food Program sites across Lane County to ensure meals are served according to program requirements, and accurate records are maintained. This position observes meal service and reviews site documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer Food Service Program guidelines. This position helps identify potential issues at meal sites and provides guidance or corrective actions to ensure program standards are met.
