About The Position
The Summer English Learner (EL) Paraeducator K-12 position involves assisting in the teaching process and working directly with children in classes and in English Language Development classes under the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher or EL Teacher. The role includes supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally in various settings, including inclusion, small group, individual, or sub-separate settings. The paraeducator will also assist students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans, administer tests, and provide physical management support when necessary. The position requires collaboration with teachers and staff to establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students.
