About The Position

We're looking for new Electrical Engineering Interns in our Systems and Electrical Engineering groups to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them. As a SYSTRA US Electrical Engineering Intern, you will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on track and budget. This is for the summer 2025 period and can have a flexible end or start date based on your educational requirements.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering undergraduate program
  • Demonstrated interest in electrical or systems engineering field
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors and managers
  • Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology and tools
  • Ability to learn and adhere to workplace health, safety, drug/alcohol and harassment policies
  • Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus
  • Experience with various electrical or systems engineering design programs and software

Responsibilities

  • Support a variety of engineering tasks that will help you develop your technical, social and ethical skills
  • Learn the day-to-day function and team interaction in the Electrical Engineering career path
  • Assist with project research, field work and preliminary design
  • Support preparation of final design plans
  • Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation
  • Complete training on assigned tasks

  • Hourly Pay: $25/hour
  • Temporary for the 2025 summer season
