Summer Day Camp Nutrition Services Driver
About The Position
The La Crosse Area Family YMCA is hiring a Summer Day Camp Nutrition Services Driver to support our Community Outreach Food Access Team. This part-time position is responsible for delivering meals and snacks to 9 area summer day camp sites, ensuring children have access to healthy food throughout the summer. Under the direction of the Food Access Director, this role is perfect for someone looking to give back to the community while working flexible morning hours. Shift Information The typical schedule is 6:00 AM – 10:30 AM (during the summer months), with opportunities for additional hours if desired.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a YMCA-provided vehicle
- Ability to lift, twist, stand, and carry up to 50 pounds with the assistance of rolling carts
- Strong dependability, punctuality, and ability to work independently
- Commitment to supporting community food access initiatives
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for community service
