As a Co-op at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), you will be immersed in the beverage revolution, working within an exciting coffee manufacturing plant. This position is specifically designed to focus on enhancing operational efficiency through various equipment and process improvements. Each co-op will lead high-impact projects, providing a unique opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to the ongoing success of the company. The KDP 2025 Summer Co-op Program is scheduled to run from July 9 to December 5, 2025, and will be based in our Essex, Vermont plant. The program is structured to engage participants in innovative projects, allowing them to gain experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. Co-ops will receive mentorship support for their professional development and will have the chance to participate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organizational leaders. Additionally, participants will undergo professional development training that includes networking, skill development, and presentation skills. Each co-op will complete a project from inception to completion, culminating in a presentation of their work and insights to their team, department, and senior leaders, showcasing their contributions to the business. As an intern, you will gain valuable knowledge in executing operational plans and projects, including Daily Management Systems (DMS) for daily operations, new equipment startups, and innovative product qualifications. You will assist with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation and Lean activities, participating in Continuous Improvement or Kaizen events, and developing, implementing, and improving autonomous and preventive maintenance workstreams. Supporting daily manufacturing operations will be crucial to achieving targeted safety, quality, production, and cost results. You will also prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate results to all levels, including senior management. Your responsibilities will include undertaking and successfully completing basic project development tasks, which may involve writing and verifying specifications, maintaining product/process documentation, testing processes, equipment, raw materials, and products, and validating equipment and processes. You will contribute to problem-solving, cost reduction, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives, analyze downtime data, maintain action plans using lean methodology, and collect and calculate savings data on improvement projects. Furthermore, you will recommend methods for improving efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.
