About The Position
The City of Allentown Solicitor's Office offers a dynamic Summer Clerkship program designed to provide first-year law students with invaluable insight into government and public service. This clerkship opportunity is available during the summer following the completion of the first year of law school. About the City Solicitor's Office: The City Solicitor serves as the primary legal advisor to the Mayor, various city departments, as well as authorities, boards, and commissions. The solicitor's role entails overseeing and managing all legal affairs concerning the city. The Office of the Solicitor consists of the City Solicitor, Deputy Solicitor, Assistant Solicitors, Right to Know Officer, Paralegals, and other essential support staff.
