About The Position
The Summer Chemistry SI and Outreach Facilitator is a part-time internship position within the Title III STEM Internship Program at Sul Ross State University. The role involves holding tutoring and study sessions for undergraduate students enrolled in General Chemistry II, providing additional support to enhance their understanding of course materials. The facilitator will also work on a special project with the Geology program to redesign geology display cases for community outreach and educational purposes. This position is designed to support undergraduate STEM students through challenging courses and aims to increase student passing rates in the STEM program.
