About The Position
Summer Camp Youth Development Leaders, formerly known as camp counselors, play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching camp experience for children in grades K-8. They are responsible for supervising campers while leading a variety of educational, cultural, and recreational activities that promote personal growth, social-emotional development, and teamwork. In addition, every position in the YMCA of Greensboro is responsible for carrying out our promise to strengthen the foundations of community with focus on Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility while upholding our values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Camp is the end of May 2025 - August 15th, 2025. Pay: Starting at $13/hr.
