Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with children aged 4-5, with 1 year preferred, in either a professional, personal, or volunteer setting.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a camp setting or similar environment.
• Ability to create engaging activities for young children.
• Strong communication skills with both children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the structure of the camp day for campers aged 4-5.
• Manage a team of support staff to meet the needs of the campers.
• Engage in conversations with staff, campers, and parents.
• Take ownership of your own mini-program.
• Navigate challenging and sensitive interactions with care.
• Ensure that all campers feel cared for and supported.
• Maintain calm under pressure and help calm others around you.
• Physically keep up with energetic campers and lift up to 40 lbs if necessary.
