About The Position

The Summer Camp Yoga Instructor will lead yoga classes for campers in grades 1 through 8, creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment that encourages students to explore mindfulness, physical fitness, and relaxation. This role is ideal for a passionate instructor who can adapt yoga sessions to be engaging and suitable for various age groups, from beginners to more experienced participants.

Requirements

• Previous experience teaching yoga, especially to children or teens.
• Certification in yoga instruction (RYT 200 or equivalent) preferred.
• Ability to adapt classes for various skill levels and age groups.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with children and adolescents.
• Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude.
