About The Position

The Summer Camp Unit Leader is responsible for leading and coaching staff within specific camper units at the Tucson JCC summer camp. This role focuses on providing a meaningful summer experience for campers, ensuring they can discover, learn, and grow in a supportive environment. The leader will uphold camp policies, maintain a positive attitude, and foster a collaborative camp community.

Requirements

• 1 year of childcare experience (Required).
• First Aid Certification (Required).
• CPR Certification (Required).
• Valid Arizona Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach staff within the Noar Unit (Pre-K), Shalom Unit (grades 1st-2nd), or Giborim (grades 3rd-5th).
• Uphold the policies and philosophy of the camp.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with others.
• Create a positive camp community for all campers.
