The Department of Park & Recreation (DPR) Teen Art Camp is seeking Ceramics, Jewelry & Woodworking Instructors II/III for temporary summer employment to support camp programs by planning and leading a variety of art experiences for teens ages 12-16. Staff must commit to working from June 29 - August 7 (core camp dates). Training will begin in mid to late May through June, which includes online courses with virtual and in-person trainings during weekday evenings and a few Saturdays. Several positions are available, and hours vary. Responsibilities Applications are being accepted for the following positions: INSTRUCTOR II: $25.43/ Hourly Provides specialized instruction in one or more field, including Ceramics, Jewelry or Woodworking for students ages 12-16. Provides technical support and general maintenance in the studio. Performs supervisory and administrative duties, including assisting the director of a summer program & developing a curriculum and lesson plans. INSTRUCTOR III: $29.39/ Hourly Provides specialized instruction in one or more field, including ceramics, jewelry or woodworking for students ages 12-16.
