About The Position
PRINCIPAL FUNCTION: Teach and lead the daily activities for its Summer Day Camp. The Summer Day Camp is a summer program in which 21 campers ages 5-12 explore the Garden weekly through stories, games, art projects, cooking, and garden activities. The camp will be conducted weekdays from June 2 to July 25 with one-week breaks June 16 - 20 and June 30 - 4. Summer camp teachers will report to work on May 29 and 30 for an orientation. During the six weeks of camp weeks, teachers will work 8:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. More information about the Summer Camp can be found at https://atlantabg.org/classes-education/garden-camps/.
