About The Position

Requirements

Previous experience working with young children in an educational or camp setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and parents.
Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and contribute to a positive camp culture.
Flexible schedule with availability for the duration of the summer camp program.
Background check clearance required prior to employment.
Enthusiastic, creative, and energetic demeanor to inspire young learners.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement creative and educational summer camp activities for children aged 4-10
Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor playtime.
Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through structured play and exploration.
Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all campers.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and activities.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive and enjoyable camp experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and outdoor areas.
Assist with registration and check-in/check-out processes for campers.
