Summer Camp Teacher
About The Position
Looking for a summer job? No nights or weekends! Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is seeking seasonal staff for our summer camp program. We will be hosting our annual summer camps at our Clarkston, Lake Orion and Rochester centers for PreK and School Age children. Summer Camp begins in June and runs through the end of August. Orientation and team building for all sites will be held at our Lake Orion campus from 9am – 12pm on the following dates: Saturday May 2, 2026 Saturday May 16, 2026 Saturday May 30, 2026 This is a paid orientation, and attendance is mandatory. Position Detail: Number needed: 2 – School Age Status: Seasonal, full-time Schedule: Days, Monday-Friday Pay range $14-$20 per hour (additional compensation provided for chauffer’s license) rate is based on degree/education and experience Requirements: Background Check including fingerprinting (paid by Heartfelt Impressions) Willing to complete onboarding training to meet licensing requirements Reliable transportation Must be 18 years or older Previous experience as a camp counselor preferred Valid chauffeur’s license required - must be willing to drive 14-passenger bus for field trips Benefits: Paid professional development Childcare discount Free Telehealth and EAP Referral bonuses Birthday benefits Paid Planning Time Essential functions of the Summer Camp Teacher are… Ensures overall safety of children ages 5-12yrs Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student’s needs and interests Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures Attend company/school meetings Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate Ensure cleaning tasks are completed Physically able to lift 15 pounds About Us Working at Heartfelt Impressions you will be seen, heard, and valued as the educator you are. Requirements
- Background Check including fingerprinting (paid by Heartfelt Impressions)
