About The Position
The Summer Camp Instructor (UREC) position involves supervising camper activities to ensure a fun and safe environment. The instructor will monitor camper drop-off and pick-up each day, develop and participate in all camp games and activities, including swimming during pool time and belaying during climbing at the rock wall. The role also includes handling camper disputes and other behavioral issues accordingly, effectively communicating with staff, parents, and guardians throughout the camp day, and responding to injury or emergency situations. Attendance at staff meetings as scheduled is required, along with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
