About The Position
Summer Camp Group Leader - San Ramon Valley, CA Inspire and lead as a Summer Camp Group Leader in a dynamic environment that thrives on innovation, excitement, curiosity, adventure, and a sense of belonging. As a Group Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the summer memories that children will cherish for a lifetime. Location: San Ramon Elementary Schools Schedule: Must be available June 9 to August 8, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 6 pm (Work schedule and hours are based on attendance) No weekends! Pay & Benefits: $18-$21/hour (pay is based on education and experience) Employee referral program - up to $300 for every successful new hire you refer Fun and friendships come with the paycheck
Requirements
- Must have 15 semester units or equivalent quarter units from an accredited college or university.
- At least four years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
- 12 units of courses that cover child growth and development, human growth and development, child, family, and community, or program/curriculum
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency
- Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations

- Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
- Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
