Provides support to the counselors and campers, along with the program staff team (Head Girls Counselor, Head Boys Counselor). Responsible for the supervision of 10 counselors and 70 campers in residential camp setting, throughout four one week sessions. DAS is responsible for coordinating all logistics for the day programs, including scheduling, set, and tear down of activities. Facilitates recreational activities and leadership programming to groups of 12 campers. Collaborates with Stone Canyon Administration and Counselors to provide an excellent camp experience for all campers. Creates meaningful connections with all staff and campers. Facilitates cohesiveness and bonding between campers in the residential setting. Counselors are expected to stay in cabin overnight for the duration of the camp session. Develops and promotes good community relations among various district and community clientele.
