Summer Camp Counselors
About The Position
Join our team as a Summer Camp Counselor and help create an unforgettable summer for kids in our community! We’re hiring for: 1 position working with older girls (ages 9–12) and multiple positions with PreK / rising Kindergarten campers. This is a perfect summer job for college students, or anyone interested in education, childcare, or youth development. You’ll love this job because you can make a real impact by supporting children from working families in a safe, fun environment, build your resume with great experience for teaching, social work, or counseling careers, stay active and engaged with arts, games, outdoor play, field trips, and more, and be part of a positive, supportive, energetic, and mission-driven team.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Reliable, energetic, and great with kids
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
Nice To Haves
- Experience with children is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, hands-on activities (arts, sports, STEM, outdoor play)
- Supervise campers and ensure a safe, positive environment
- Chaperon field trips and special events
- Build relationships and be a positive role model for kids
