About The Position

As a Camp Counselor at Enchanted Care, you will create, manage, and participate in a variety of new adventures ensuring that our campers create unforgettable memories and develop valuable new skills. Camp Counselors collaborate professionally with other staff, parents, and outside vendors to promote the general well-being of the school, and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to frequently carry and lift 25 pounds or less (25-50%) and occasionally carry 25-50 pounds (10-25%).
• Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students.

Responsibilities

• Positively influence your peers to work toward and meet the school's vision of excellence.
• Provide and maintain quality education programs.
• Ensure successful implementation of approved curriculum.
• Prioritize a safe, clean, and attractive camp environment.
• Maintain compliance with camp standards and state licensing requirements as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and internal policies and procedures.
• Create an unforgettable experience for campers while empowering them to embrace challenges and new opportunities with courage, confidence, and determination.
• Work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse staff and administrators.
• Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with the families, students, and community.
