About The Position

BASIS Independent Fremont Lower is seeking enthusiastic camp leaders for Summer 2025. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making camp a fun and enriching experience for children. The roles available include Day Camp Counselors, Day Camp Lead Counselors, and Specialty Camp Lead Teachers. Day Camp Counselors will support Lead Counselors in guiding campers through daily activities, while Day Camp Lead Counselors will plan, teach, and coordinate activities for specific age groups. Specialty Camp Lead Teachers will plan and lead themed camps with the support of a summer team. The camp runs from mid-June to mid-August, with both full-time and part-time positions available. Camp hours are from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, including before and after care. Qualified candidates can choose the weeks they want to work or commit to the full summer.

Requirements

• Minimum: High school diploma and valid fingerprint clearance.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of health and safety for campers and staff.

• Represent the camp when interacting with parents and the broader community.
