About The Position
NOW HIRING FOR SUMMER CAMP 2026! Are you searching for a fun and meaningful summer job where you can make a positive difference in your community? The YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is looking for caring, enthusiastic, and creative Summer Day Camp Counselors to serve as role models for youth in our community. Description: Promote positive character values in an engaging indoor/outdoor environment. Lead youth in exciting activities such as sports, swimming, arts and crafts, and more! Participate in field trips to various exciting destinations such as the Aquarium, Treasure Island, bowling, and more, providing fun and educational experiences for the youth. Be a part of a team dedicated to creating lasting memories for campers and staff alike.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Completion of YMCA Child Abuse Prevention Training.
- Level 2 background clearance through DCF (Florida). More information is available via the link: https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- 10-panel drug screen is required.
