About The Position

Kids First Too is looking for talented individuals, superheroes, coaches, memory makers, listeners and problem solver to be camp counselors this summer! Play and work in the outdoors with awesome adventures and wonderful staff! We are always on the lookout for future camp leaders! Camp Counselors are paid to play and interact with kids, build relationships, keep our kids safe, play games, sing songs, make art, be silly, dress up and more! Our counselors of all experiences work together to… - Ensure the safety and needs of all campers are meet through out the camp day. - Create a high-energy atmosphere to keep the camp day fun while maintaining the highest level of safety. - Build positive and encouraging relationships with campers and their families. - Setup fun and creative games and tear-down for each rotation. - Encourage participation in arts & crafts. - Chaperone weekly field trips. - Oversee and participate in swimming activities. - Strong communication skills. Camp jobs offer invaluable skill-building, leadership, training and opportunities that can't be found anywhere else! Ideal candidate loves children and is flexible, motivated, responsible and reliable. Our staff must possess the highest moral character and serve as a positive role model to our campers. Applicants must be 15 years of age or older. This seasonal position may require 30-40 hours per week Monday- Friday between 6:45 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Our preference is to hire staff for the entire summer season.
