Sedgefield Country Club is seeking Summer Camp Counselors to join our team for our 9 week summer camp program this summer. Requirements

Current CPR & First Aid Certification or willing to get it.
Ability to effectively respond to feedback and suggestions to continuously improve the services provided to members

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in child/youth setting and/or guest service is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
Lead daily recreational activities (Arts & crafts, games, swimming).
Encourage teamwork, participation, and positive social interaction among campers.
Enforce camp rules, safety procedures, and behavior guidelines.
Prepare and set up equipment and activity areas.
Monitor campers during swimming activities.
Communicate effectively with camp staff, supervisors, and parents when needed.
Work collaboratively with other counselors to manage groups and activities.
Serve as a positive role model for campers.
Maintain professional behavior and camp values.
Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
Help with general camp duties (cleanup, setup, logistics).
