About The Position

Natick Boathouse, managed by Guest Services, is hiring summer camp counselors for our 2026 season. It's a weekly day camp that runs Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and serves children ages 8-15. Full-time, weekday availability is necessary for this position. To provide supervision of the water to ensure safe boating operations. Teach beginning and intermediate boating skills to campers and junior staff.

Requirements

• Customer Service and Leadership skills
• Intermediate knowledge of boating such as kayaking, sailing etc.

Nice To Haves

• Red Cross CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard or Equivalent Preferred. (Training available once hired.)
• 1 year teaching experience with at least one type of boating discipline such as sailing, kayaking, SUP, or canoeing preferred.
• USSailing, ACA Certifications preferred
• Basic proficiency in speaking Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Hindi preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach beginning and intermediate paddling and sailing skills
• Leading games and activities
• Leading/teaching groups of children
• Supervising of children ages 8 - 15
• Supervision of on-the-water activities
• Working weekday hours. Weekend hours might also be required
• Other duties as assigned by Camp Director and Site Manager
