The National Building Museum is looking for energetic and hard-working individuals to bring the fun to summer camp this year! Reporting to the Manager of Youth & Community Programs (Manager), the Summer Camp Counselors are responsible for planning, implementing, and teaching the Museum's Summer Camp program. As part of a camp team (6 Counselors) within the Education Department, the Camp Counselors will organize and teach a variety of small and large group activities each week, be responsible for the safety, care, and wellbeing of 2nd to 5th graders and supervise additional camp activities such as lunch and recess. This is a summer position with a start date of June 25th through August 15, 2025. Before the start of the camp the hours will be 9am to 3pm for June 25-27, and 9am to 1pm for June 30-July 3. NBM's summer camps will run for six consecutive weeks from July 7 to August 15, Monday-Friday. Counselors will be scheduled for four of the six camps which will be coordinated by the Manager. During the camp weeks, Counselors' hours will vary from 8am to 4 pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm depending on the aftercare schedule.
