About The Position

Scottsdale Gymnastics and Trampoline is looking for reliable, patient and fun Summer Camp Coaches who love to work with kids! Our Summer Camp dates are May 26th to July 31st, Monday-Friday. We are looking for coaches that can commit to camp and build strong relationships with our students and bring a positive and fun attitude each day! We have full days of camp available from 9am-3pm and our after care program from 3pm - 5pm. We are looking for our camp coaches to work from 8:35am - 3:05pm or 8:35am – 5pm, Monday-Friday. The pay will be $19/hour. You will be coaching! Your job will revolve around helping kids develop work ethic, listening skills, confidence, body control, and most importantly, ensuring their safety.

Requirements

Love working with kids
Ability to educate and engage campers in a variety of activities
Must be able to maintain a consistent summer schedule. The kids need their coach to be in the gym!
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to see and hear clearly 20 yards away.
Ability to provide sustained attention to students during class time in the gym.
Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb onto a spotting block to assist athletes.
Ability to spot a gymnast, including the strength to lift and carry at minimum 50 pounds.
Ability to move equipment including the strength to push or pull at minimum 50 pounds.
