About The Position
Montessori School of Durham is seeking Summer Camp Staff who will work with children 3 years old - rising 7th grade. MSD camps are all Montessori-inspired programs that ignite passion and curiosity for lifelong learning while exploring a weekly theme. Camps run from 8am-12pm or 3pm Monday through Friday, with extended pick-up options until 5:30pm. The success of the summer is all about our caring, dedicated, and energetic staff. Responsibilities include: supporting lead instructor activities inside and on the playground as well as supervising and engaging children in camp activities. Applicants must be punctual, reliable, professional, and nurturing. References, background check, and i-9 work authorization are required. Teaching or childcare experience is required and previous experience in a Montessori setting is preferred but not required.
