Lead. Inspire. Make an Impact This Summer! Summer Camp Assistant Director / Site Supervisor YMCA of Collier County – Naples Location Are you a strong leader with a passion for youth development? Join the YMCA of Collier County and help create a safe, enriching, and memorable summer experience for children in grades K–8. The Summer Camp Assistant Director/Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall development, implementation, and supervision of the Summer Camp Program, working closely with the School Age Manager. This role leads a team dedicated to delivering high-quality school-age care while upholding YMCA standards and Department of Children and Families (DCF) regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in youth development, camp leadership, or school-age programming
• Strong knowledge of child care licensing and DCF regulations
• Excellent organizational, communication, and team-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Summer Camp Program
• Lead, supervise, and support Program Counselors
• Ensure compliance with YMCA policies and DCF regulations
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to staff
• Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment for campers (K–8th grade)
• Communicate regularly with the School Age Manager and submit required reports
• Build positive relationships with families, staff, and community partners
• Model YMCA core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility
