About The Position

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a friendly, reliable outdoor enthusiast
to capture photos of our recreation experience at Blue Mountain Adventure Camp.
This person travels throughout campgrounds and activities taking photos of our
campers & interacting with campers. Qualified applicants should embody the
camp’s core values of Safety, Fun, and Learning.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

Assist with activity set-up and clean-up before camp activities begin for the
day.
Hike around from activity to activity, camp group to campground, capturing
photos of the adventures kids are on.
Compile, screen, edit, review, and upload photos to camp parent/guardian
platform.
Willingness and ability to help facilitate camp activities & assist with
managing camp groups for children of all ability levels and ages (5 to 15
years old)
Assists counselors and other camp staff at mealtimes, on field trips, during
pick up/ drop off, etc.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years old but prefer 18 years or older.
• A strong enthusiasm for photography & capturing the adventures in the outdoors
• Specific required experience, interest, and skills in Photography expected.
• Preference for experience taking photos of active events (recreation events, sports, etc.).
• No specific camera experience required – most photos are taken with a phone camera.
• Possesses the ability to work both within a team and independently without direct supervision
• Ability & interest to review & screen photos and upload them to the platform for parents & guardians to see.
• Knowledge & skillset to perform very minimal editing to some photos
• The physical ability to participate minimally with offered activities to get oneself into an optimal photo taking locations.
• Extraordinary ability to provide outstanding guest service
• Enjoys working with children
