About The Position

Are you passionate about keeping mission-critical terminal technology running smoothly? Our IT Terminal Systems Internship puts you alongside the team that operates and improves the systems airlines, passengers, and airport staff rely on every day. Under the guidance of the Sr. IT Terminal Systems Manager, you’ll support field services operations, help test and maintain complex hardware/software solutions, contribute to operational metrics, and coordinate with staff, vendors, and contractors to keep the terminals humming. Requirements

• Must be an active student in a bachelor’s degree program with an emphasis in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Aviation Technology, or a related field.
• 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

• Current, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from one of the following universities: University of North Texas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of Texas at Dallas, Paul Quinn College, or University of Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining mission-critical airport applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, cybersecurity, and vendor support.
• Support troubleshooting efforts and escalate issues to senior engineers.
• Shadow engineers during incident response and learn best practices for high-availability systems.
