About The Position
Summer Associates will assist attorneys in the day-to-day handling of cases with either one specific practice group or with numerous practice groups within the firm. Requirements
- Strong legal research, writing and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with attorneys to develop strategy for the defense of actions
- Assist in drafting of pleadings, discovery, memos, briefs and other legal correspondence and litigation documents
- Shadow an attorney in depositions, conferences, hearings and all other aspects of the defense of a case
- Conduct legal and medical research and analysis
- Assist with the drafting of motions
