About The Position

Singleton Schreiber is a civil trial firm with a focus on personal injury, mass torts/multi-district litigation, civil rights, environmental and fires. Our Northwest Office, which opened in 2025, is led by three former senior Department of Justice officials, who are committed to making Singleton Schreiber LLP the top-tier Plaintiff’s firms in Eastern Washington and the Northwest. The three partners leading the Northwest Office also serve as professors/instructors at Gonzaga Law School, where they are committed to mentoring and encouraging the next generation of incredible attorneys. The Northwest Office, which is based in Spokane, focuses on the following practice areas: Whistleblower and False Claims Act Personal Injury Mass Torts Sexual and Human Trafficking Wildfire Litigation Employment Law Our Summer Associate Program is a 10-week program designed to give summer associates hands-on experience working with our Spokane team while gaining valuable, transferable legal skills and a realistic understanding of what it’s like to practice at Singleton Schreiber. The program will be full-time starting in May and will end in August with an opportunity to stay part-time during the fall and spring semesters.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school and having completed their 2L year.
  • Highly developed communication, writing, leadership, and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Law Review or Moot Court, Mock Trial or another oral advocacy preferred.
  • Prior legal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Legal research.
  • Drafting or responding to discovery.
  • Drafting motions or oppositions.
  • Preparing for depositions.
