Job Function: Local Per Diem Staffing Location: Remote Program Details 2026 Program Dates: June 15 – August 7, 2026 (8 weeks) About the AMN Healthcare Summer Associate Program The AMN Healthcare Summer Associate Program provides hands-on experience with the nation’s largest healthcare staffing and workforce solutions company. Associates gain real-world exposure to healthcare operations, technology, and teamwork while contributing to meaningful business initiatives. Position Summary The Summer Associate will support front-end recruiting operations by assisting with lead and application triage, responding to basic clinician inquiries, and completing follow-up tasks under close supervision. This role helps streamline workflows, improve the clinician experience, and allow recruiters to focus on higher-value sourcing and placements. The associate will also work on a defined summer project focused on operational efficiency and process improvement while gaining exposure to healthcare staffing and recruiter workflows. Scope of Work & Responsibilities Support lead and application intake and routing to recruiting teams Respond to basic clinician inquiries and assist with follow-up tracking Maintain Excel-based tracking and assist with data cleanup and basic analysis Support marketing efforts by helping draft clinician job descriptions using Copilot and AI tools Partner with recruiters and leadership to assign interested clinicians appropriately Identify common questions, bottlenecks, and process improvement opportunities Skills & Experience Gained Exposure to healthcare staffing operations and recruiting workflows Experience in customer service, problem-solving, and process support Hands-on use of Excel for tracking and data cleanup Introduction to AI-enabled recruitment and marketing tools Professional collaboration with recruiters and leadership Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 0–2 years of related experience 3.0 GPA Currently enrolled undergraduate or recent graduate Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail Work Environment / Physical Requirements Work is performed in an office/home office environment. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or recent graduate
  • Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
